About Us
BBC Environmental, Inc. was founded by its President and Principal Engineer, Walt Craig, in 1994. Mr. Craig gained his expertise in petroleum fuel systems, environmental data collection and property remediation as a construction engineer and environmental program manager with ExxonMobil Corporation. His extensive industry knowledge is our foundation.
Our company continues to serve major oil corporations like ARCO, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell. BBC provides our municipal clients, including Cities and Counties throughout Southern California, with landfill impact monitoring, landfill gas monitoring services, and property development assessments. For the Department of Defense we execute base-wide groundwater monitoring and sampling plans and remediation system evaluation efforts. BBC is a certified subcontractor to CalTrans.
Real estate and site development activities include brownfield redevelopments of properties impaired by fuels, pesticides, solvents, and metals. Field services include air and dust monitoring during excavation and grading activities. Site characterization by drilling in advance of site development. And soil segregation and disposal once development is under way. We are performing these efforts for suburban community housing projects, inner-city high-rise developments, and individual commercial property transactions.
Our firms environmental conscience drives us to advance how we do business. Like our smaller profile, fuel efficient vehicles using modular systems of equipment based upon the use and task at hand. Unlike our competition using heavy, gas-consuming, overbuilt vehicles with huge carbon footprints. To further this cause, BBC has aligned itself with the installation of hydrogen fueling stations across California. Promoting a true zero emission alternative vehicle for drivers.
